So.... Our concept for our filmed changed about.... 10 times no joke. We was stuck in a big rut to begin with and was so overwhelmed by the breif. So sarah did a fashion film lesson and showed us many different films, I was so Inspired by Prada's A Therapy fashion film, I thought we could do something so similar with the Sophia shoes, like our model could be glamourlsy laying on a sashe longe talking to the shrink telling him that she needed something in her life and the shrink would say 'you need these shoes, these shoes will change youre life' we stuck with that for about a week, then it changed again, we wanted to incorporate the rave... I really hated this idea I dident want anything taky, I just wanted sophistication, but Molly was strong in her views about us needing this rave, so then we had another concept about her having a dream about being in a rave with these Sophia shoes, and we was going to add speach bubbles which relate to her bags, we stuck with that for another week, and I was okay with this idea as I was stylist, so really I could keep it as sophisticated as possible with my styling. Another week went by, me Molly and Sophie was sitting in the canteen and I love the film The Holiday with Cameron Diaz in, my fav chick flick. But in the film Cameron as a god like voice over talk to her, that was it! All three of us sat there and was lik 'WE NEED A VOICE OVER' there we have it, concept set in stone we had a god like voice over talking to our model about how she needs these shoes in her life, its funny thinking back because we took so much inspiration from films, we also played upon Sophia fairytale inspiration and took inspiration from the Wizard of Oz, which out model clicking her heels three times to transform her into the jungle then back again to her normal life. I am so proud of us for finalizing a concept together, we worked hard and it changed so many times but I was pleased with the final concept and everyone else was to, we still kept the jungle rave idea, although i hated it to begin with it turned our amazing in our film we worked so hard to build the set and light it and it paid off. Also relating back to Prada's A Therapy its very comical, and that is a genre we had thought about for our film and I think it does still fall into this genre, so we still used aspects of this fashion film to keep the comedy within our film.
